959.0. "The Shadow of a Gunman" by TALLIS::DARCY () Tue Oct 01 1991 15:21

**** Digital Employee Services & Recreation announces ****

    "The Shadow of a Gunman"

    The Wilbur Theatre, Boston MA
    Sunday 17 November
    3pm
    $35.00 ($31.55 with Digital Discount)
    Deadline 28 October

DEC is pleased to be a sponsor of the O'Casey Theater Company's
production of "The Shadow of a Gunman", written by the illustrious
Irish playwright Sean O'Casey and directed by his daughter Shivaun.

Set in a 1920's Dublin tenement, "The Shadow of a Gunman" is the
story of a struggling writer whom the neighbors believe to be a gunman
on the run. Through its colorful characters this classic tragicomedy
reveals the essence of the Irish people - their idealism, their
politics, and their love of poetry.

This production, cast with both Irish and American actors, will be in
Boston for a short run, so don't miss your chance to see this wonderful
    play.

    Back to the original question.

Would anybody be interested in getting a group together to see this and
then go off together to eat afterwards?

Or, seeing as it's a Sunday, we could hit the all-u-can-eat barbecue
brunch at the Loading Zone not too far away before the show.
