This year 2 Irish groups will perform. The Irish Masters include
Seamus Connolly, former Bothy Band uillean piper Paddy Keenan,
and guitarist and singer Pat Kilbride formerly with the Battlefield
Band. The Masters will perform at noon on Saturday July 27th ,and again
on Sunday at 12:45 and 3:30 pm
The second group is the Freeborn Irish led by Chicago's Micheal
Flatley, world champion dancer and flutist. Joining Flatley are Brendan
Mulvihill from Baltimore, Seamus Egan from Philadelphia, Gabriel Donohue
from Connecticut via Galway, and Michael Ahanon of Philadelphia.
Mulvhill is a noted fiddler, formerly with The Irish Tradition. Egan
is a gifted multi-instrumentalist who plays banjo, flute, whistle,
pipes, and strings and an All-Ireland champion on Four instruments.
Donohue is currently with the noted New York band Jigsaw, and Ahanon is
formerly with the American band Trapazoid, plays piano and dumbeg drum.
in addition to performing, some of the musicians will participate in
instrument workshops. Flatley joins the flute workshop on Saturday at
noon, Kilbride the guitar workshop on Saturday at 4:00 pm, Connollly
the fiddle workshop on Sunday at 2:00 pm, and Donohue the solo vocal
workshop on Sunday at 3:00 pm.

Saturday night evening concert (7:30-11:00) at the South Common
there's a bunch of other people playing, doesn't mention order
Sunday:
12:12 (who makes these schedules!) at the Boarding House Park Stage
1:30 at Lucy Larcom Park
3:00 solo vocal workshop at the Market Street Stage

| Both Irish bands playing together on Saturday night.
But do yourselves a favour and see Peter Rowan & Co. both Sat & Sun
at noon....plus the Louisiana Aces....an added advantage that you
won't have to listen to keVin yelpin' his inanities....
