Todays "Irish Times" contains a table listing the legal ages at which
certain activities can be engaged in. A sample:
Activity Legal Age
======== =========
Obtain firearms
certificate 16
Buy condom 17 (proposed)
Get married 16 (with parental consent)
Age of consent (sex) 17
Buy cigarettes 16
BUT....you are not allowed drive a bus until you are 21.

Having said all that...........they were available in the vast majority
of chemist shops......methinks this whole issue has more to do with
crusading forces from both camps. After all, import licences have been
issued for 40 million over the last few years. Now if poor
distribution channels kill business, where have they all gone?
(Conspiracy theories welcome).

| If you look at the table that is reproduced in the previous note, you
may notice that the marriage age is 16, but the age of consent is 17.
So what happens to someone who marries at 16? Is it a case of "you can
look but you better not touch" or do they twiddle their thumbs for a
year??

The simple facts are often overlooked by the moralists and those who
feign disbelief.
If you buy a condom and you are seventeen do you really expect that
you will be the only person to use it. ????
If you are you have found some strange behavior to indulge yourself in.
If you are not then your partner may or may not be under seventeen or
can you make some argument that the other person is not using it also.
Snake can show you how the age limit to buy is not the same as the age
limit to use.

Snake we all know that what you really use is an old boot. Remember old boots
leak.
As for the condoms in the pub thats so when we go th the bogmans ball with
impunity.
