878.0. "RTE at the Green Briar" by FAVAX::HORGAN () Thu Mar 14 1991 17:34

A couple of weeks ago RTE was at the Green Briar in Brighton,
MA, filming a few of the local musicians and dancers. The show
will be on RTE2 on Monday night (March 18th) at 7:00 pm. A few
of the performers are Seamus Connolly, Jim Hogan, Liam Harney,
Larry, Mike & Sean Reynolds, and Brendan Bolger. Brendan is the
    1990 All-Ireland Fiddle Champion.

Would there be any volunteers to tape the show? A few of
us managed to get front row seats and made sure we got in front
of the camera quite a bit.

    Happy St. Pat's to all!

    Hi Julia,
We could tape it for you, but you'd have to get the tape
transferred to the American system before you could watch it.

                         Cheers,
                               Gerry.

       Gerry,

    the States.

I recently had a one hour tape transferred from PAL to NTSC, here in Canada
for CA$45. For a two hour tape, it's CA$60. If you can't find a cheaper
price in the States, send it here and I'll get it done for you and bring
it down whenever I travel to Bedford (which is often).
