| I know of someone who is developing Irish and Scottish Gaelic
versions of TeX. Is anyone interested in a copy?

| Craig,
When browsing through my brother's copies of the TeX and LaTeX books, I
noticed a number of the example texts they used were in Welsh. I wonder if
one of the developers/documentors was Welsh?
Huw.

So that users don't have to learn English to use it?
The translation work is being funded by CERN in Geneva. They
are doing all the European languages, including minority ones!

Perhaps, or maybe they were just showing that it was easy to convert for
other languages?

| OK, I get it now. I was thinking along the lines of why recode TeX if
it can already handle Welsh? After all it's a VERY powerful text
formatter. It didn't occur to me that the user interface/documentation might
need translation!!
Perhaps I've been in England too long! Sigh! :-)
Huw.
