Irish Human Rights Activist Plans Program
Henniker - World-renowned Irish human rights activist Mary Nelis will
speak on "Women and Irish Civil Rights 1969 - 1990" this Thursday at
New England College in Henniker, N.H.
The program will be held at NEC's Bridge's Little Theatre at 7:30pm.
The event will include traditional Irish music.
For more information, call in the evening, (603) 456-3392. The event
is sponsored by the college's Irish Studies Department.
Friday at 7:30pm, Nelis will speak on "Human Rights in Occupied
Ireland" at the Littleton Community Theatre in Littleton (N.H.).
Refreshments will be served.
