      It is as plain as the nose on my face 8*).

    If you bought a 'u' it may help....

    Yeah...just when we Celts settle down...them Arabs start!

    Actually...the Galway plant went to the races last week :-) and
    some of them are still looking for thier shirts up at the track!

    That might account for the recent lack of MACNAS noters...I managed
    to bring a spare shirt but still lost it on the dog track(yes,they
    were 4 legged dogs!).

    Bare chested of Ballybrit...

      Paddy, I always knew you were an IRISH Republican, but when I found
    out you were an AMERICAN Republican as well I had to cancel my member-
    ship in the Belleview Pin-Stripe & Starched-Collar Country Club.

      They were pleased as punch.

      So I've sold my suits and ties, grown back my moustache, bought a
    few pair of blue-jeans and spend my time playin' cribbage at the VFW.

      The CELT file will never be the same.

                                    :-)

    Well I'd hate to tell you what part of Mr Denton's anatomy you will
    find hanging in Galway IF comes within an ass's roar of Croke Park
    on All Ireland hurling final day!!! :-)

789.9Up CORK!WREATH::DROTTERFri Aug 10 1990 15:0517

    When (Not "IF", but WHEN) my favorite County (Cork, of course!)

    STOMPS Galway On All Ireland hurling final day, I think it would be a

    nice gesture for Dave Keating to be sending me his Galway blazer -

    as a way of showing his *appreciation* of Galway being beaten by

    a SUPERIOR county! :^>  :^>

    I've said it before, and I'll say it again: There are only two

    type of people in the world - those that hail from Cork, And those

    that wish they did!  :*>

    What is all this crap about a cork!!!!! How can anybody be proud
    of something that gets shoved into the top of a wine bottle.

    Hey I just figgured it out!!!!!

       That must be why you all are nothin but a bunch of winers !!!!

    re: .10

    Seeing as how your relations hail from ANTRIM, Paddy

    and

    that the score of the Senior Hurling semi final was CORK 2-12,

    Antrim 1-13, I'd say that your note 789.10 wasn't so much a bad case

    of "wining", as it was a bunch of "SOUR GRAPES"! :^>

    Proving once again, there are only two types of people in the world

    Paddy!

789.16Time now gents, - To pay up!WREATH::DROTTERThu Sep 06 1990 13:4617

    Let's see...$200, $300, $400,...

    While I'm counting my winnings, and savoring the sweet victory of my
    favorite county (CORK, Of course!) over those "n'er-do-wells"
    (Galway), I'm getting a powerful thirst. Which reminds me:
    one Mr. Burns owes me a six-pack of my favorite frosty libation
    for having the misfortune of betting on the losing side. :->

    Any time now, keVin would be fine. I believe I'll have them served to
    me by the good barman of the Peter Rd Pub (a.k.a. Burns' Bar & Grille).

    And, I'm not forgetting you, Dave Keating: WHERE's MY GALWAY BLAZER??!
    :->

    I want to look appropriate when I go to the pub. :->
