Did I miss something?
Last week, I was told that Liam Ferrie would be around the Best
Western in Marlboro prior to the Wild Geese match. I showed up,
waited for a couple brews ('til after 7:15), but no show.
Was I in the wrong place? I went to the Royal Plaza, which I
am told is the Best Western (if you believe the sign out front).
I was real disappointed, I haven't seen Liam in years. He used
to be my boss when I was in Ballybrit.
I would have shown up at the Horseshoe later, but as I told
keVin, that was not possible that night due to prior commitments.
Did I screw up somewhere?

| Bob,
Sorry I missed you. I was indeed staying at the Best Western but
you should know that I would never think of looking in a bar. I
met Mike Hughes in the lobby at about 7:00pm and headed straight
for Worcester.
I'm just thinking that it was odd that I found Mike in the lobby
and not the bar. He musn't have been too well that evening, or
was saving himself for later!
