This is something I'll do when I finally get to Ireland. 'Course the way things are going I'll be ninety-two and infirm. I was curious if any CELT noters, within or without Ireland, had ever done this "tour" of Baile Atha Cliathe. My impressions, given the detail of Ulysses, are that it would take about six years and the entire contents of the Guinness brewery to complete. Thanks

There is a 'Bloomsday' tour done every year. its on Bloomsday of course. I have started it. I have never managed to finish it as I suddenly have been diverted. It is very good fun. MBr | |||||

Or buy Frank Delaney's book (sorry can't remember the title but I have it at home - possibly something like "Joyce's Odyssey"?) which takes you on a walking tour, complete with quotes from "Ulysses", and pictures of old/new Dublin. I bought it in Dublin, but it is freely available elsewhere. John |
