707.0. "$5 Darcy does NOT show up !!!" by GSFNET::BURNS (The Panama Canal is a busy ditch) Wed Jan 24 1990 14:31

For what its worth, a few of us will be traveling to Brighton Ma.
this Thursday evening for a few pints at the "Green Brier" located
somewhere in the vicinity of 300 Washington Street.

No Doubt we'll see the insides of the Kinvara, and the Corrib,
before the evening is over, and maybe even a few other places
if they let us in ..... :-)

Joining us will be DECies from Galway, Dublin and Belfast !!!!

YE-3 have promised NOT to play any music ... :-)

The SOLE moderator of this notes conference (George "Slapshot" Darcy)
        has also promised to attend.

    KeVin,

Now that the moderator has gone walkabouts, this is obviously
your chance to say what you REALLY think about the Snake!!
Or is he out there partying with you? Dont drink too much now.

707.2I will set Tom Keane on you next timeSIOG::BRENNAN_Mtodays best labour saving device-tomorrowWed Jan 31 1990 06:429
No the snake was not there. A few others were though. When KeVin
was asked to come out for a few on Friday night he was heard to
    mutter

    "No F****** Way"

I wonder what happened to him

    Martin,

Glad to see you made it back safe and sound. How did you like the
food and the "show" at the Japanese restaurant??!

Paddy mentioned something about a chef at one of he other tables
'slipped' with those Ginsu knives, and now one of the customers
is singing *soprano*! Is that true?!

Things are working out on the homefront. Next time you come over,
I promise we'll get together for a longer time. (And
    without keVin too ;^) )

Yo, (Irish?) person with a Scots surname:

If you read my note, I did tell him. (about the homefront).

Now, if YOU recall, Thursday was 'THE DAY'.

Oy, That's our Burnsie, after a few days at NU, (or is it REALLY
"The Court"?!!) his memory's gone off. :^)
