A once in a life time opportunity.

Fr. Des Wilson is in the States on a lecture tour. He will be at
St. Anselm College, North Lounge in the Cushing Student Center on Oct. 31,
    1989.

He is to speak on; Northern Ireland: The Way Forward

keVin and I had the pleasure of meeting Fr. Des while we were in
Belfast. He is a remarkable individual and well worth seeing.

Tell all interested about the night. Traditional Irish music will
    proceed the lecture.

    See you all there

I have seen the "domestic" Black Velvet Band. They are very good.

Jen, I just realized I never answered your note regarding the
"foreign" group. I think the album is worth buying. How did you
    like the Waterboys?

KeVin and Paddy, Quite a few people from my ceili class are going
sunday night. There should be a good turnout.

    Julia,

I liked the concert, but it was my first time in the Orpheum....I
don't think it was meant for rock bands. The sound was a little
    muddy!

Hearing them sing the fourth-grade elementary school classic..."THis
Land is My Land" was also a little different!

I saw the announcement in the paper yesterday and am planning on
attending. Does anyone know how to get there from Manchester.
I mean I know how to get to Goffstown but where is this place located?

keVin where are you with the directions?????

All I know is that there is an exit on rt 3 north that says

St. Anslums College. I'm going to take that exit and follow the
    signs.

Terry: If you stand up and face the front of the building, you
will see two green "Banners" hanging from the ceiling.
That is where my office is located. Directions will be
given out "Free-of-Charge", which is exactly what they are
    	       worth .... :-)

Father Wilson gave a brief but informative talk last night at
the A.O.H in Watertown. He received a standing "O" and hopefully
    lots of money.

Rita O'Shea called a few dances.

Dancing tip- Watch out for the little old ladies, they swing like
                 mad!
