I miss the free state of West Cork wher the sun always shines except
when it rains and the pubs never shut and the music and crack (not a
cocaine derivative for all you americans out there) and the people.
I think that you don't realise how important it is to an Irish person
to be able to criticise until you are in someone elses country and you
can't criticise without be told that if its all that bad go home. Its
not that we are a negative people but we need to be able to begrudge.
Its a national sport isn't it.

| Micha,
I met the wife down in O'Connors in Doolin. She is Spanish and
everybody asks me did I meet her in Spain, I say no, I met her in
Doolin and they ask me where is that.
Nice to be there if the tax man was a little easier and the work
was there.

Maith a fear Renee
(Excuse any misspellings, it's late here in the U. S. of A.)
I mean we all complain about the life at home in Ireland. I, for one,
would drop everything at a moments notice and be back there tomorrow if
I thought I could make a go of it.
I'd kill for a chance to attend a Feshtival in Clare anytime in the
Summer, the stuff that dreams are made of.

| Thats all we ever seem to think about.....over there.....
Well as far as I'm concerned I could take anything the TAXMAN throws at
me if the job was there.
Maybe next year.
Maybe Intel.
Maybe Samsung.
Maybe Never.

| Well, Ann
John O'Connor is still with us, married to Sally Costello & has three
kids. Eugene Earlie is with DEC is the US somewhere (last I heard).
John Lewis is with Wang, I see him in the street in Galway sometimes,
he never changed a bit.
John O'Connor is in Engineering, I am still in Training Dept.

| Speaking of O'Connors in Doolin, I was only there myself last night.
Fancied a change from McSwiggans's so I hit off for Doolin with
a couple of lads and lassies for the crack.
There was a set dancing session on last night and strangely enough
for late November, there were plenty of foreigners soaking in the
atmosphere.
Ya can't beat it!
