Hi Lorelei,Mike, Seen as my eldest girl is called SADHBH,then I suppose I should try it. SIVE would be my best shot. Interestingly enough Sadhbh came home from school yesterday, saying that her teacher said that the Irish for her name is Sive. I put her right. How is the crack Mike?? ( oops maybe I should not mention that word). regards Peter. | |||||

The most common pronunciation of Sadhbh is indeed "Sive", though in some areas of Connemara its pronounced "sow" (as in pig!!) Most people prefer the former. Is mise Jimmy |
