    Hello Folks,
    
    Some good news,the Industrial Development Authority announced
    today that INTEL Corp. have stated that they are to set up  a
    Manufacturing plant in Dublin, with the prospect of 2500 jobs
    over the next 5-10 years, and a planned investment of over
    200 million pounds. The IDA also announced last week that 
    Motorola are to set up a manufacturing plant in Dublin also,
    to employ 800 people over next 5 years. Recruiting is starting
    now according to press.
    
    This must be good news for some of our emigrants, as well as
    the country.

    	I for one will not be returning..that is not until the tax system
    changes and the politicans stop pussy footing around the clergy...

    From todays "Irish Press":-
    
    "                      DUBLIN TO GET l6m FACTORY
    
    A l 6 million IDA_backed electronics factory,which will provide
    185 jobs in Coolock Dublin by 1995 was announced yesterday.
    Infotron Systems Corp. of New Jersey will begin recruiting management
    personnel for the premises at Clonsaugh Industrial Estate shortly.
    The company produces sophisticated products used in the manufacture
    of telephone terminals,workstations and computers."
