    FYI,
    
        Yesterday (Wednesday), on a voice vote the Boston City Council
    voted to enact a Mac Bride Bill for Boston that will restrict the
    investment of city pension funds in companies that due business
    in Northern Ireland and do not adhere to a code of principles
    guaranteeing equality of employment opportunities.
    
        Mayor Flynn has already endorsed the bill and is playing to
    sign it at a ceremony at the Boston Irish Social Club in the 
    near future. (That's two blocks from P.J. Cronin's) As soon as I
    know the date I will put it in the notes file.
    
        On a related note, within the past week California has signed
    a Mac Bride Bill.  "The West is truly awake!!!!!!"
