598.1 | Bring on the Frosty Libations!! | WREATH::DROTTER | | Mon Jun 19 1989 14:14 | 18 |
| Gee, finally a *new* keg (of Old Milwaukee :^( !!)
Since I gave up such a *promising career* as a brit-basher in E_F,
to work so long and hard helping to lobby the state reps and
senators to pass the MacBride Principles here in N.H., (imagine:
giving up that opportunity in E_F just for "the cause"!!),
I assume Paddy will invite me to this party - even though I
make fun of his choice of beer. (And his height - or lack thereof!)
I promise I won't get as rowdy as last time, when the neighbors
had to call the cops.
And oh, BTW, to make this party complete, you should have a bonfire
where an effigy of Attilla, the Hen (a.k.a. Maggie Dearest) is
burned with GUSTO!!

PADDY: Painting an old keg "Kelly Green" does not make it new !!!
Now a keg of Guinness in honor of MacBribe would be a
nice gesture ..... :-)

The "MacBribe" principles? Is that a summary of YOUR principles,
keVin? :-)
Now like I already told the aforementioned MacBribe adherent, Paddy,
I fully expect a gold-embossed, illuminated, parchment invitation
with half-uncial lettering delivered on a silver platter by Jackie
Bisset in a bunny costume. On second thought, forget the bunny
costume. 8-o
I'll be there only if you promise Drotter will retain continence
throughout.

Paddy,
I'm quite disappointed. Last week when you mentioned the party,
you talked about a convenient location. You said it would be
"somewhere in-between." Silly me, I thought you meant in-between
New Hampshire and Rhode Island.......not Nova Scotia and Newton!!!

| Paddy, you're a great man to not only have gotten the McBride
principles passed in NH but also to constitute the hospitality
center of this unworthy and ungrateful notes file.
I will be delighted to come and to bring something vegetarian,
which, judging by most Celts I know, I will be the only one to
eat.

Now, now....I will not be made to feel quilty. I was simply stating
a geographic fact.
As for the ginger ale: Me mum (English, of course) always cautioned
me against drinking alcoholic beverages in the presence of Irish
rogues.
I always thought the warning was about the former, now
I know it's about the later....

Paddy that there are those of us who don't know where he lives.
Any chance of directions? I can get to the police station in Pelham,
but I don't want to have to go in and ask directions of them. The
last time I did that, their behavior was unlike that of a welcoming
committee.

OK Your wish is my command......
The police station is on Windham Rd., continue past it and take
your third left which is Simpson Rd. The street sign is
on a telephone pole on the right so be watchful. I live at 44 Simpson
Rd. approx. 1/2 to a mile up the road. You'll come to a sharp curve I live
in a yellow duplex on the right. There will be plenty of ballons
on the mail box

Now how did your hearing aid end up in your cousin's car?!?
How do you intend to get it back?!? I know if your cousin
can deliver it to Cranston.....I can get it as far north
as Hudson and somebody else can take over from there....
We can have "baton transfer" on Rte 495!
Yawn....I have to go nap now....re-entry is tough

Pepsi!

everyone......there were at least three Farrells, several Murphys
and Paddy's dogs (also Murphys), keVin and Kevin, Ye 3, a multitude
of Culberts and a plethora of C & W heads......but the happiest
of them all were the 16,000,000 mosquitos.
Murphy who wasn't there but heard the reports.
