Why don't you suggest a date for a drink or two for those of us
at Digital here in Dublin who would like to meet you? Hanlon's,
across the road from the Dublin office would be a good location.

Loking forward to seeing yourself and the Clareman.

| | For those intrested in more Irish rock'n'roll....two more bands
that may be of intrest are in the area.......

Next Friday night (June 9) the much ranted about "Something Happens"
    are playing at Axis.

And on Saturday June 24th, Stiff Little Fingers, from Belfast, are
playing at The Channel. Best known for the exelent "Alternative
Ulster" and the definitive version of Bob Marley's "Johnny Was".

At least they had the good taste to pick weekend nights....both
shows will be worth the effort......says I.

I think you should change the name of your tour with Paddy
    to "PRATTLE & Bum".

Afterall, he is SUPPOSED to be a bodhran player; and the definition
of prattle is: to make meaningless, repetitive sounds suggestive of
    the chatter of children.

Hmmmm, that definition sounds just like the way Paddy plays!!

And as for "Bum", well, that speaks for itself: he is afterall,
a POLITICIAN (a REPUBLICAN at that!)

    Nee I say more?

| | Dermot,
The three should fit in extremely well....a roly-poly lizard,
a lizard with a mustache and a scottish accent and a luminously
green lizard with a grizzly frosty libation in hand......

All three will be looking for sessions, real porter, and to impress
everyone with their vast knowledge of both......Watch as they sip
their Guinness, raise a knowing eye and exude an informed "Aaaahhhhh",
"that's the real thing", "better than the Court", "We'll never go
back", as a certain, not to be named, individual waves his newly
aquired Euro passport with the Harp, establishing his true credentials
and inaliable right to exude knowing "Aaaahhh's" on matters hitherto
    considered foreign........

Also, warn, and if too late, sympathise, with any musician they
may accidently come upon, for our three incidental tourists come
equipped with tape recorders, camcorders, cameras and any other
mechanism that will enable them to prove beyond a shadow of a doubt
that they were actually there and provide indisputable evidence that
they really had a good time....no easy accomplishment as you will
    all agree.......

All I can say Dermott, is be prepared, take nothing for granted
and if you drink in this place frequently, you may wish to consider
a disguise.............you may want to return one day........

                     Yours forever in "helpful mode",
