I'd say these mediums weren't worth their salt.....If the "U.S.
contingent" had already left, we'd probably know the culprits!

"Makes you wonder why they didn't see it coming, but five fortune
tellers from northern England say they had to abandon a tour of
Ireland because their crystal balls were stolen.
Margaret Pickering said members of the group did sense something
might go wrong soon after they arrived in Ireland.
We were aware something was about to happen, but we did not know
what, said Mrs Pickering, a medium from Hull. We did not think
our luggage might be taken.
The crystal balls, tarot cards and other essential tools of the
clairvoyants' trade were taken from their car while it was parked
outside a guest house in Dublin.
Irish police said they were investigating the theft.
"Just what the thieves will do with their haul remains a mystery,"
a spokesman said.
"You might say we are looking into it...if only we had a crystal
ball to help us."

about his (often) poor, "jokes".
Its not his fault, Dermot: you see, Paddy Culbert writes that material
for him.
THAT'S the reason his jokes aren't quite up to snuff. :^>
