531.1Guinness in Genve ?FERNEY::HEWSONThe open highway calls me back..Thu Mar 16 1989 12:0210
What a good suggestion, but that man a pint...

Here in Ferney we'll be crawling around the pubs of Geneve from 4:30pm
CET , but knowing the dynamic night-life of Switzerland that means
we'll probably all be home in bed by 10pm.....

    Ciao,
    BRIAN.

The lads from New Hampshire will be spending the afternoon in
Lowell Massachusetts (a.k.a. the Irish Acre) and then after
an afternoon of "Mighty Crack" we will head for Manchester
New Hampshire, to attend a concert by "Patrick Street"

After the concert (with a little bit of luck) the members of
"Patrick Street" will be visiting the home of Kevin Sullivan
for a "God Almighty Session" of traditional Irish Music.

As long as you stay a safe distance away from Burns and Culbert
you'll be all right. With one sporting an accordian and the other
a bodhran and and both offering, without needing to be asked of
course, renditions of "Ireland was Ireland when.......", without
a note between them, dressed totally in green, shamrocked to the
gills......(not a pretty sight), and that's before they even have
    a drink.

                          gotta go,

                             MURPH.

I'll be in church observing this Holiest of Holy Days as a true
    Irishman.....

Then I may have a pint or two in the name of my patron Saint.

Then at a presribed time all in the party shall face the East and
raise a toast to our friends across the pond.

After all is said and done I am sure I will feel VERY ill on Saturday
morning. But I'll get better for the party Saturday nite.

I'll be marching in a parade on Sunday and will undoubtly have to
toast to something that day also.

I think I'll be blowing off Monday.

I wish every reader a HAPPY SAINT PATRICK DAY

We have a good sesion planned for Munich ..The Guiness isnt the
best but drinkable..There are a good few Irish Musicians also in
the area...so the crack will be good......Did ye folks in Geneva
mean 10.30 pm on Friday or Saturday...or Sunday...when ye finish
..I hear the Guiness is'nt that bad...As for Culbert and folks
...keep in practice.I'd hate to see ye back in July struggling
    with a few beers!!!!!

I will be working all day surrounded by greenery. I came in to
work this morning to find my office covered with green crepe paper
and balloons. (Today's is my birthday). I understand there are
several surprise birthday parties being held in my honor. But I
won't breath a word about them.

    Happy St Pat's Day
