bar is....it's across the road from the Allston Alehouse.

Mary Black at the Berklee, on Mar. 30th, with full band (drums &
saxaphone etc), will be one the this year's concert highlights.
Saw this band in Ennis two years ago....ABSOLUTELY SUPERB.

The kinveara is on Harvard st , near the intersection of Harvard
Ave and Cambridge St ... , time ... about 9.00 ( there is a supporting
band ) , cost is $7

| Freddie White in all honesty is exelent....very taented....but solo
is just not my bag.....he plays some rag-time, a lot of Randy Newman
and Randy Newman-like material, slooow and soulful. Plenty of facial
grimacing....
The last time I saw him was in Dublin about two years ago, a rugby
weekend, at a Chris Meehan and his Redneck Friends extravaganza.
Chris & band were backing Freddie, Mary Black, Ringo did a little
and then Johnny Moynihan cut loose on the box with the band....Aaahhh
the memory.....Such nights of music and spirit are all too rare.....
special....The Guinness was flowing aplenty.....all weekend.
He also had a band back in the seventies, with Jimmy Faukner on
lead guitar, the drummer from Stepaside (I think), but unfortunately
didn't stay together too long.....they were exelent......
But if you have to choose....the band that Mary Black has with her
on this tour is well worth the effort.

Freddie White's appearing Thursday nights during February
at the Kendall Cafe on Cardinal Medieros Way in Cambridge
just outside Kendall Sq. Plays from 9:30-12:00.
He's working out of the Boston area these days, basically
trying to get his career re-started.
