    Does anyone out there have the notes of these two tunes:
       The Staaten Island Hornpipe
       Fred Finns Polka ?
    I can`t find them anywhere and I'm mad to learn them. - Kevin.

By "notes" do you mean the music?

If so, I'm sure I have "Staten Island Hornpipe". I play it on hammer dulcimer.

If it is the music you want, where should I send it? (DEC mailing address
not EMAIL)

446.3It's on the way.RICKS::ANDERSONTue Oct 25 1988 11:5111
Kevin,

The music for Staten Island Hornpipe should be winging its way to you as I
type. Have fun. If your interested, I got it from a book called "The
Fiddler's Fakebook". It's a great source. It is especially nice because it
has the chords, sources for recordings of it, the type of tune it is and in
the introduction some notes about styles. I also have a book with about 2000
Irish Fiddle tunes called "O'Neill's" which is sometimes a good source,
however it only has the tunes. No additional information. Have fun!
