Jaysus, Paddy, does that mean we might have to prepare a state welcome.

have to be born in the U.S.A. :-) (once a banwagonner always a

    voted, he would have lost!

Thank You Thank You Thank You

Yes It is true I have won the Republican Primary representing Pelham
and Hudson N.H. It was easier than I thought. Four of us ran and
there were three positions open. I was able to amass enough supporters
to be in the top three. The next (GENERAL) election will have three
rep. and three dem. candidates going for three seats. Time will
tell what party comes out on top.

A State welcome will not be required at this time. But a nice stout
will be greatly appreciated. Do they let Republicans run around
lose over there? Hey maybe I can meet some Republican politicians
    while I'm there.... 8*)

Really I want to thank you all for the support.

    ooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhh nnnnnnooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

(NASHUA,N.H. A.P.) Today, throughout the state, voters in New
Hamphshire are stunned by the highly dramatic, and equally
unprecedented train of events now being revealed. The results of
a tightly contested, (a plurality of one vote) and largely cont-
roversial state election are on the very edge of being overturned
by that state's highest court. Three hertofore undiscovered abscentee
ballots have been unearthed in that remote and tiny hamlet of Dixville
Notch, N.H. These surprise ballot papers now reveal that perennial
N.H. favourite son, keVin Burns, a man-of-all-seasons' malcontent,
thought to be employed in the food-service staff of a locally based
major Massachusetts corporation, with strong and lasting ties to
that Irish county, long legendary for hurling prowess,GALWAY,
apparently has emerged as the (sic.), "people's choice". There
now appears to be rampant panic in the streets of all major cities,
and towns. Burns was quoted as stating, " is there anybody out
there?" No immeadiate responses were noted.

    I don't know Paddy, I just don't know.

Is the Republican you know, better than Democrat you don't know?

It looks like Bush, Quayle (and Culbert). But there ain't too much
to be happy about. A very disappointing state of affairs all around.

Presidental elections are supposed to be times of Enthusiesm, Hope
and a little Excitement. (Or maybe that was just my poor upbringing)!

What do they give, Republican or Democrat, but cynicism, greed,
inanities and a lot of lies, leaving a bad aftertaste of apathy
and despair. What's most insulting is the way they treat the public
like mental retards and children who really don't know what they want,
so they better explain it to us in the simplest of terms.

Strong drink, and lots of it, I'm afraid, will be the order of the
rest of eighties. It's about the only way anyone will see any of
