video� = The Funeral of Larry Marley is a video that tells how for
three days, a Belfast family went through the agony of being
unable to bury their father, of seeing mourners who had come
to honor him being beaten and kicked, of being besieged in
their own home and locked up with their grief. It shows how
since 1983 the traditional respect accredited to funerals by
both sides in the military conflict has been violated as the
RUC persistently attacked republican funerals.
The courage and consistency of the people who failed to be
intimidated by the persistent RUC attacks will long be
remembered and is captured on video.
