If you are looking for a nice Irish pub then you won't
find it at "The Dubliner". Yea, it's a little green inside
and out and maybe some "Irish pictures" but it's NOT an Irish pub.
It only serves stuff like Bud and Miller.

| ack! ack! thanks for the warning. If I want Bud and Miller I can
hit the local packy and go home to WHEEL OF FORTUNE....
While we're on the subject....ARE there any decent, stout-serving
Irish pubs in the All-American City?

| last time I was at Houlihan's I had a tall glass of Harp?
was it really Miller Lite with an eyedropper full of something brown
added?!
...all beer in America comes from a large vat located in Newark,
NJ....

I think they MIGHT still serve decent beverages there but the
management of the place was brought up on Bud's. Personally,
I think the place has gone to the shitter and they are a pack
of money hungry jocks looking to cash in on what WAS once a
popular and enjoyable pub.

I was informed last night, that Houlihans' has been SHUT_DOWN
by the local health inspector.
I do not know why they were closed, or when they will re-open.

| Houlie's is open again. The real story about it's closing is
the Board of Health found out that keVin and Mike Foley were in
on a regular basis for a couple of pints and several times
brought in a scurvey dog named Snake. well the town of Nausea
wanted no part or this trio so the joint was shut down for fear
of the plauge hitting again. the REAL question is where do we
go for a pint if that establishment is off limits to the likes of
us.
Could the answer possibly be The teaming metroplis of Lawrence?
God I hope not.....
Hi keVin Mike and Snake!!! Anyone doing anything on 1/2 way to
St Patrick's Day

I have a headache in my stomach. It must be the years playing
catch-up. But at least us older folks know where to park. All in
all it was a great night on the town.
