The name "ORLA" is derived from the GAELIC word "OR" (with an accent over the "O"), which means "GOLD". "ORLA", I believe means "GOLDEN". I have a niece named ORLA, who is not always "as good as gold" ! I hope this helps. The Rose of Tralee. |
