| There was some ice rinks in Ireland but they are overcrowded and
tend to be in parts of the city that the police won't go.
The worst part of it all really is the overcrowding. It is not worth
the effort if you are falling over bodies every 3 feet.

| 'sfunny, but Mr Hunter did, indeed, introduce me to the sport
of Curling. [For those who might not know, this sport consists of
throwing large lumps of granite at a bullseye painted at the far
end of a frozen pond. :-) ]
I initially found it hard to keep my malance, but this was soon
cured with the infusion of the correct level of the amber nectar
via oral means, to act as counterbalance...

In answer to the origional question.
Recently , I.E within the last six months a fantastic facility was openened
In Ireland. It is the Dundonald International Ice Bowl , This is situated
on the outskirts of Belfast , It has a full size international ice rink,
to-gether with Ten pin bowling and other various sports facilities.
Already there have been Ice show spectaculars to-gether with Curling comps.
The reason I know is that I already have been several times and cannot wait
to get back....
Leo
PS there is more to Ireland than the 26 counties
