    ps Is anyone interested ?
199.2yes i'm interestedMEO78B::FARRELLFri May 22 1987 06:1016
    Drew,

Yes I'm interested. We get some soccer programs on the ethnic TV
station here in Australia (SBS) but sometimes I miss it. The major
Euoropean games (the Cup finals) are shown live but we get very
little about the internationals. Limited highlights are shown but
the teams may not be listed. Its the little 'snippets' of local
information that wpould be most helpful. I believe that when Ireland
beat Scotland recently that Jack Charlton said that that was the
Scottish team he would have picked ?? Where was Davy Cooper for
    instance

    Thanks - Joe

Rep. of Ireland 1 Brazil 0
    (Brady, 31 mins)
One of the best results I"ve seen for years

    Scotland 0 England 0

Never in my life have I seen such a boring game (I probably have,
but never mind), it was so bad I took the kids swimming at half
time, no way was I watching anymore.
As an aside there were 31 arrests inside Hampden Park and over 100
outside, and apparently caused by English Soccer "fans", there is
no way the English Clubs will be allowed to play again in Europe
if they can't get this hooligan problem sorted out.

    Forthcoming attraction Tuesday 26th May

Scotland V Brazil at Hampden Park.
