My sister-in-law (State-side) is looking for some gift ideas for
her fiance who lives in County Donnegal. He's 40, is employed by
the water works in town, & has a small farm. He does not smoke or
drink, so parephenalia is not appropriate, & she doesn't want to
send him clothes (ties, socks, etc.) or similar dull gifts.
I'm curious to know if anyone can suggest something that we
can get here (America) that he might not be able to get over
there? Usually it's the other way around, but we're wondering
if there's any way to reciprocate with something uniquely
"American." Any ideas?
BTW -- The price range is $50-25. She is saving money for her
return & doesn't want to be too extravagent.
