| My paternal Grandmother, nee Lane, came over in the 1860s from the
town of Innishannon, near Cork. Just curious if you know anything
of this place and what it's like.

| Go raibh mile maith agat!! Good for Kerry! One should never bet
against them in a final. I'm sorry about the Cork minors - so
close in the two finals. About time, now, for Clare to win a
championship.

| You may be interested to learn that a former Clare and Munster
hurler, Willie McAllister, is living in Cambridge - very good
personal friend. He played in the forties as full-forward with
such greats as Mick Mackey, Limerick, Tommy Doyle, Tipperary,
John Keane of Waterford and Ringie!!!! Great hurler and human
being - one of my favorite people.

| Sorry for not replying sooner:I haven't accessed the Notes for
a while. I do not know your husband's cousin but, perhaps, some
of my Bishopstown friends would. When we go "home" we usually
stay in Bishopstown on Cedar Grove with a very dear friend, Liam
Hurley whose friendship goes back to the 3rd grade in Cork.
