954.0. "Using FX32 to Convert ORACLE V7.1.333" by OSEC::WEBSTERM () Thu Feb 27 1997 07:45
Hi,
I have an INTEL NT application that sits on top of ORACLE V7.1.3.3.3 (for NT) and I am currently investigating if
it is possible to convert the ORACLE software I have to run on ALPHA using FX32.
The installation proceeds ok. The problem I have is that when I try to go into ORACLE using SQLDBA71.EXE, the
following messages appears :-
'Windows NT 2-task driver unable to spawn new ORACLE task'.
Seeing as ORACLE probably does not count as an 'end-user' application, is it possible that this message is saying
that there is no way an INTEL NT version of ORACLE is going to run on an ALPHA ?
Bye for now,
Maria Webster

conference. Please repost it there.
