Hi out there,
we are investigating a connection to HP Open View. First goal is a simple alarm
forwarding. Before we start to generate an ASCII AM, I'ld like to know, if
anybody has already done something similar. Best would be a Q3 interface but an
SNMP access is also appreciated.
The problem is, that a simple alarm-/trap-forwarding might be not enough. Of
course we need the model of the managed elements. In our case these are mainly
SNMP nodes like routers etc. But there are also logical elements like pathes
rsp. links which need to be modelled.
Has anybody experience with HP OV at all or has anybody already done a similar
project ? Any information is appreciated.
