Conference taec::temip

699.0. "Problem with TeMIP 3.1 on 3.2G of UNIX" by NEWVAX::SHAKER () Mon Mar 17 1997 23:34

    I have a problem installing TeMIP on 3.2G version of Digital UNIX. 
    TeMIP installation requires DEC C++ Runtime Libraries to be loaded and
    the one comes up in 3.2G CD is CXXSHRDA306.  TeMIP installation
    complains that it cannot load since it requires CXXSHRDA307 or higher
    for TeMIP 3.1.  I have not been able to find CXXSHRDA307 looking
    through the notes conference.  If someone can help me, I would
    appreciate it a whole hell of a lot.  I am in a terrific time bind and
    I need the help really bad.  Thanks.
    
    The UNIX version is 3.2G
    TeMIP version that I am trying to install is V3.1
    Looking for DEC C++ Runtime libs CXXSHRDA307 or higher or another
    solution to get throught the hurdle.

Hello,

You are not the first person complaining about this CXXSHRDA307
DEC C++ Runtime Libraries which is not part of the DUnix V3.2G CDROM.
I don't know how you can get it (may be asking to the DUnix support),
but for sure you need it.

    I found the CXXSHRDA307 in the software product library in the first
    CD. I wanted to post it so that in case anybody gets in to the same
    mode as I did, will have the answer.  I loaded it and I was able to
    bring up TeMIP successfully.
