Hello Temip user, Does any body know of an off the shelf product running under OpenVms or Unix which allows you to propagate an fired alarm to a mobile phone or bipper ? It would be something like an automatic procedure launched when an alarm fires in order to warn somebody with a mobile using the protocol TAP for instance... Thanks for any ideas. Jean-Pierre RUBIO

Netman A/S has developed - in the context of the E-Plus project - a solution which forwards an alarm via their (customer specific) Repeater AM to a mobile phone as a short message. It is certainly not an off-the-shelf solution for your purposes but maybe it's an entrypoint for you. Best regards, Rainer Scheffler E-Plus Project Mgr | |||||
