RMON2 is not an Internet standard yet, it's just a proposed standard since
Jan-97, (RFC-2021).
Given the delay for an RFC to get from proposed, to draft, to standard, we would
not consider implementing an RFC until it becomes at least a Draft Standard -
(typically minimum 2 years from first RFC publication).
This being said, we do support loading any SMIv2 MIB, so nothing would prevent
you from just compiling and loading the RMON2 MIB, as long as it's (SMIv2)
standard compliant.
Note however, that there are some generic restrictions in the SNMP MIB compiler:
SNMPv2 constructs which are not SNMPv1 compatible are not supported (e.g.
Counter64); further, some IMPORTS clauses would have to be replaced with the
proper object definitions imported from other MIBs.
Hope this helps.
