Hi, The customer has several new Celebris GL 6200 i2 - FR-B96WW-EG. (Bios GL 6200 DP 1.01) Even after several weeks of work all dispLay CMOS error after power up - the battery doesn't work. Save setup option works until next power off. In all four PC there is the same error - is it known problem ? I want to order new batteries but there are no this type of Celebris GL on QRL. Could somebody provide me a correct part number for the battery ? Thanks, Jarek Parlinski, MCS, Warsaw

We've seen some problems with the battery. Clean both the battery and the contacts and see if that fixes the problem. If you need a new battery, use the same one that's in the Venturis FX. regards, glen kelley | |||||

This could also be a revision problem. Just watch at the left side of the battery if the diode D43 is installed. If so the battery problem can occur during power off/on. Correction: Replace Diode D43 by an zero ohm jumper. Hope this solve your problem. Please let me know what the fix is for your problem. Regards, Ray | |||||

Did the cleaning battery help with your problem? This probably has some thing to do with system CMOS setup or BIOS, if you log a call with support,we will have someone look into this problem. regards, Judy |
