I have a Celebris GL5166 with a 17inch monitor (pcxpv-ud). It also has a US Robotics modem and an Adaptec PCI Scsi card. Im using the Digital Power Management software that came with the machine. Running 95. When the machine goes to sleep very often I cannot get it to come back up again (without powering it down). Any ideas. It doesnt seem to matter whether or not the modem is being used. Regards Nigel

3812.1 | Have you checked the monitor? | PCBUOA::GKELLEY | Thu May 01 1997 22:01 | 8
Have you loaded the latest BIOS from the PCBU WEB page? We haven't really heard of many problem with power management on the GL, but have had some problems with monitors that are not completely DDC2b compliant. Check to see if its your monitor that may not be waking up rather than the system. regards, glen kelley

I do not see pcxpv-ud monitor in our supported monitor list. Do you mean pcxbv-ud? The pcxbv-ud is a northern variant monitor,it supports VESA and DPMS compliant systems. Do you have a right timer set in CMOS setup? If the problem still bothering you, please log a call to support. Also our support web has all supported monitor list,the web page is : http://pcbu.ako.dec.com/ regards, Judy |
