Hello! I am using HiNote CT450 with Windows 95. The machine had _blank_ disk. I installed DOS 6.22 than Windows 95 than kit from HiNote/HiNote Ultra Setup Diskette (Windows 95). I don't know version of my BIOS (any tip how to do that?) by an attempt to upgrade to V1.42 resulted in message "The update BIOS is older than the current BIOS". The problem: machine does not use APM features: suspend, hdd "sleep" etc. If I boot it with DOS everything works fine. Any ideas? Thank you in advance. Alexey.

Alexey, I guess you got some of the answer a long time ago - but just in case............... When you power up the laptop, one of the first lines on the screen indicates the BIOS version. I'm running 1.41 and it seems to work OK. Regards, john | |||||
