Would the 4100 system (with Internal Cache enabled) boot from a
bootable diskette created on another sysytem?

| The following was suggested from TAO BIOS Engineering:

| Yes,moving jumper W1 to the "on" position cured the problem.
As a matter of interest,the Dec part 54-23546-02 (the AMD 100 cpu with
the attached regulator) didn't exhibit the problem.
