3790.0. "Help on CELEBRIS GL5100 Processor upgrade" by mcopc2.mco.dec.com::GREEN () Wed Feb 19 1997 17:44

I've got a Celebris GT5100 ST and was thinking of trying to get a processor
upgrade. Anyone got an idea what processor I can go up to?

Thanks,

Dylan.

    If it's the Celebris Telluride (54-24068-01) it's possible install a
    P200 (socket 7).

    Celebris GL 5xxx is code-named Telluride. Whether your motherboard
    part number matches the one mentioned in .2 is another matter. You'll
    have to open up the machine to see...

    I wrote down that the Celebris Telluride did support the Pentium
    200MHz, well that's wrong, it supports till Pentium 166 MHz.

    Celebris GL5XXX is the 54-24068-01

    Matrox Mill. video, ESS 1688 sound, DEC 21040 network onboard.
