    I have a soundblaster 32pnp and w95.I have followed the installation to
    the letter.
    .MID files and CDs play ok but .WAV will not.So no system sounds and
    any program needing these just hangs.
    There are no conflicts in hardware according to w95.
    The joystick works fine
    The SYSTEM Properties shows that the joystick,soundblaster 16PnP and
    AWE32 are all installed.
    The AWE32 is shown to be correctly installed with three
    drivers(synthgm.sbk,sbawe32.drv and sbawe.vxd) but using NO resources 
    because it 'has a problem' - very helpful...
    
    
    Any clues how to proceed?So much for plug and play - I have been
    playing with this for 2 months - is this what they meant?The other neat
    thing is that sometimes windows won't start except in emergency mode.
