Hello all,
does anyone know if a Celebris XL daughter card will work in a DECpc XL
?
We have one of these daughter cards, (P-100), left over after
upgradeing to an Alpha daughter card. We also have a DECpc XL 466d2. It
would be nice to get the 486 upgaded with this card if at all possible.
When installed in the DECpc xl (bios v1.23) we get no video.
Looking forward to all replies.
regards
Richard

You should upgrade the motherboard to a Celebris XL motherboard.

talking about celebris xl, i have one with 2x133mhz cpu's wich needs
about ten times power on/off until it comes up with the magic DP after
the processor speed in the bios text. this is a pain because nt drops
dead if it sees only one proc. as an additional pain i have to disable
the second level cache, otherwise the system does not recognize the
bootdevice.
