I just looked through the http://pcbu.ako.dec.com/ site and the only
information I found is a spec which says max res/refresh is 1280x1024
at 75 Hz. The Celebris GL 5xxx on-board Matrox implementation is a
low-end one compared to the Matrox card, and priced accordingly. For
high-end use, you need to replace (i.e. just ignore) the inexpensive
on-board version.

My Celebris GL5100ST works fine in 1600x1200 (256 colours) - the only thing that I had to do to get '95/NT 4.0 to work properly with
it was to get
the latest drivers from ftp.matrox.com - the ones on the PCBU's site are way out of date!

RE: .1
RAMDAC is 175Hz, the same as the OEM plug in cards.
The other plug in card has a 220Hz RAMDAC.
