108.0. "Is this a Graph Legend bug, or Supported Feature?" by CHEFS::SMITH_M (Martin Smith, Reading. - 830 4544) Tue May 20 1997 10:49

Can anyone explain this behaviour (in both Office95 & Office97 versions
    of PowerPoint)?

Open a blank presentation, then choose the Graph AutoLayout.
Double-click the lower frame (to insert a graph, and to display the
    default datasheet.

Change the format of the graph to Horizontal, and note the positions of
the contents of the Legend box.

Double-click the Legend box, and select the Placement tab. If the radio
buttons for the Top or Bottom types are selected, the legend box is
duly repositioned, but the order of the contents is changed
(reversed!) in reference to the graph elements.

    Martin.

(I hope the above description is clear?!)
