I am unable to insert a .txt file in powerpoint ever since I've been using Windows95. I get an error "sorry there was an error reading the outline" It used to work in the older version. Any suggestions on how I can bring a .txt file into powerpoint Windows95? Thanks

I've had no trouble inserting slides from .RTF files, or cutting and pasting directly from Word to PowerPoint. I'd suggest you open the .TXT in Word, Save As... .RTF, and then Insert Slides from File.... Don't ask me what the diffence is between Insert Slides from File... and Insert Slides from Outline.... I use from File..., select a .RTF, and it works. I tried a .TXT file just now, and got one slide for each paragraph in the file. YMMV. Pilar. |
