475.0. "Arrowkeys behaviour" by JGODCL::APETERS (Let's make it happen!) Fri Mar 21 1997 10:21
Hello,
normally, when you use the arrowkeys, the active cell moves.
For instance, when the active cell (outlined) is A1, and you press the
"RIGHT ARROW" key, B1 becomes the active cell.
Since a couple of days, when I use the arrowkeys, the active cell
remains the same, and the entire spreadsheet moves! To change the
active cell, I have to use the mouse, point and click! Mightily
annoying.... It's like the arrow is bound to the sliding bars instead
of to the active cell.
I must have fiddled with some settings, but for the life of me I can't
get it to work normally again. I tried HELP (arrow, slide, cell, etc),
searched this notesfile, asked knowledgeable collegues... I tried!
How do I get Excel to behave normally again?
Thanks,
Andr ;^)
