Mayor Bean and Mayor Morrissette In High Stakes Wager!
Apples Against Cheese in Friendly Wager
Mayor Jeffrey Bean of Fitchburg has bet Mayor Doug Morrissette of Fitchburg
Wisconsin that the New England Patriots would defeat the Green Bay Packers in
the Super Bowl game January 26 in New Orleans.
Mayor Bean put up a box of Marshall Farm apples against 10 lbs of Wisconsin
Cheese and 5 lbs of bratwurst. If the New England Patriots win the big game,
then Mayor Morrissette has pledged to give Mayor Bean the Wisconsin cheese and
bratwurst. If the Packers should win, then Mayor Bean will be sending a box of
home-grown apples from Marshall Farms here in Fitchburg to the good people of
Fitchburg Wisconsin.
