Has anyone checked out some of the 3000' peaks in what the AMC White
Mountain Guide refers to as 'The North Country'? I'm talking about
those which are within like 30 miles of the Canadian border.
The guide goes on saying that trails are very hard to follow due to
overgrowth (lack of hiker traffic in these areas) and that excellent
navigational skills are required to bag these summits.
