I work in NSIS in the UK (I used to be part of SI but now we are all NSIS).
Does this licence agreement cover my group?

| I am the contact for the license contract between Visio and DIGITAL.
The Enterprise License was written to include the Network Services
organization. The successor organization is the Enterprise Networks &
Platforms Technologies practice (EN&PT) in NSIS. Currently they are
the only people covered by the license.
I don't know what part of NSIS you are currently assigned to. You can
talk to Colin Cooper (one of the UK drawing coordinators) at
OLO/Warrington if you think that you qualify to use this software. I
don't know how clearly organization lines are drawn after the July 1
reorganization. Please write me if you have further questions on this.
If you want to use the Visio Enhancements which our office produces, we
can talk about that as well.

| Thanks for the answer, Lee. Of course, in reality, EN&PT is not the only
place former NS people ended up.
It is a shame that a Digital Services-wide licence doesn't exist. I am an
IST manager in the CIS (Communications Industry) practice and we have bought
a few licences for Visio, primarily for our Solution Architects. I will
suggest to Sultan Zia that we look at how much it would cost to extend your
licence agreement to cover CIS.

| Yes, and there are others in the wider NSIS organization who are
interested in Visio licensing. Last week I spoke with Roger Newhall in
NSIS / Mail & Messaging about Visio.
Certainly having a common tool is useful as various NSIS practices work
together on various assignments.

| The discounted prices for Visio products which are listed in Note 30.1
apply to all DIGITAL employees. These discounts should be available
to European employees (and all others) through DIGITAL's software
purchasing arrangements with Stream International. Ask your purchasing
department to confirm this for you.
