| So does anyone think Jeff George is better off in Oakland?
I sure as h#ll do! It's about time they dump the Hoss and get a new
reliable face on the team. I already think this team will make my pick
for my pool next year.

| If Jeff George does well in Oakland, it will perpetuate their
mystique which is one of the most unique in all of sports.
Its good for the overall personality of the league for varying
teams to have compelling mystiques about them.
I think it woul dbe great for the league if he does well IN
Oakland.
I just wonder if Davis' time is over.

Looks like Al Davis is doing some dealing this off-season. First
the Raiders pick up Jeff George as my last note indicated. Then they
pick up Desmond Howard which still hasn't proven as a worthy receiver.
But it doens't hurt having a great punt returner and good kick returner
along side with Kaufman. Which has the starting RB job next season.
Signing Howard also frees Tim's punt return duties leaving him focused
on his receving skills. And now I heard that the Raiders have the #2
pick in the draft. My guess that they want Orlando Pace! This will be
a great season!!
