    Wanted: riding partner and best friend for 45-year-old conservative
    SWM with atypical interests.  Very intelligent (SATs 1400+, Masters
    degree), love to talk and speak in public, dry humor, happy,
    independent, honest and forthright (core values expressed in "Country
    of the Pointed Firs" and "The Minister's Wife" and the "Gunsmoke"
    series), warm, romantic, caring, morning person (up at 4 or 5 making
    coffee, in bed by 9), brown eyes, some remaining brown hair, love
    horses and horse shows as well as barn cats, antique shows, the Maine
    coast, Henry James and Ed Gordon and Andrew Wyeth, county fairs, and
    the rifle and pistol ranges.
    
    I am much too affectionate, so my partner must want that and be able
    to return it.  She must love to snuggle and hug and it must be self-
    evident to her that this is the only acceptable way to pass the time
    during a blizzard.  Finally, I am tall and very slim and reasonably
    handsome, so she must be willing to fend off other women when I put on
    a double-breasted suit for her.
